The City of Munday maintains a downtown city park area, a picnic park area with playground on south 15th street, and a municipal swimming pool. The Lake Creek Golf Course, just outside the city limits, is a 9 hole public golf course. Miller Creek Reservoir, located between Munday and Seymour, is ideal for camping, fishing, boating, and water sports. In addition, there are baseball fields, tennis courts, and outdoor basketball courts for public recreation.
